A Word About Sponsorship...

Nerd Girls would like to thank all of our sponsors, large and small. Nerd Girls is a non-profit organization and without the help of our sponsors we would not be able to continue functioning. Our generous sponsors provide the team members with a stipend for their endeavors, to underwrite the cost of computer equipment and modeling software necessary to perform research and development, and to cover the travel expenses for our solar car races, including those of support personnel. We hope that the students involvement in the "Nerd Girls" project will be an equivalent experience to the real open-ended engineering problems one would encounter in an industrial position.
